Did Jesus Reveal the Name of the Antichrist?
I found out about this YouTube video from an email from American Vision. I checked it out and what the video says is wholly accurate in its word usage and Strong's reference numbers for both the New and the Old Testaments. Now, whether or not Jesus purposely revealed the Antichrist's name in this manner, I'll have to mull that over; or, as Paul says to do with the Word: "chew on the Word as a cow does her cud." Very interesting thought, however. Even so, from what I know and understand about who the Antichrist is supposed to be, this man about whom this study is about does not yet fulfill the prophecies in the Bible as it describes him. I say "not yet" because the characteristics mentioned by the Bible could still be formed in this man. This we do know, however, is that Bible prophecy MUST be fulfilled, each and every part of it, if it is to be considered "Bible prophecy" and not just some of it. Christians believe, as they should, Christ will return for His church soon and the identity of the Antichrist will be revealed at this time. But, throughout history, men have used the Scripture in an attempt to define the Antichrist and have called men such as Nero, emperor of Rome,all the way through to Adolph Hitler, wannabe world dictator, the Antichrist. Obviously, they were wrong. We are told, however, by Jesus to keep watch on the order of things in the world and use what we know from the Word to best judge His coming and to continually be prepared in mind and spirit. I added another video along the same lines which proposes this same individual to be the Antichrist, but using different sources and different Scriptures to support their proposal. At any rate, watch the videos below and gleen from them what you may. Whether they are factual or not affects nothing in God's plan for mankind.
