THE ISLAMIC CONFERENCE
with its 57 Member States
The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), an international group with permanent delegation to the United Nations, is made up of fifty-seven Islamic Member States from all over the world with five associate members or "observer states." Its formation was dictated by the views of each of each Muslim nation centered around and fused together in the words of the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam, dated 5 Aug 1990.
It is based upon the perceived failure of the United Nations’ based Universal Declaration of Human Rights, dated 1948, to consider any of the religious nature and culture of non-Western countries; i.e., Muslims who hold the position any Islamic nation must reject anything "secular." Islam itself is encompassed by its so-called "Shari’ah Law" and its belief which prohibits any Muslim to submit to the rule of any non-Muslim entity.
The CDHRI is made up of Twenty-five Articles, each declaring the principles which stand to reaffirm the civilizing and historic role of the Islamic Ummah, or fellowship of believers. It states the Ummah was created by Allah as the best community and is the example of a universal and well-balanced civilization both on earth and in heaven. It serves as a guide for all others in humanity which are confused because of different and conflicting beliefs and ideologies, those who are steeped in their materialistic passions. In asserting human rights, it protects man from exploitation and persecution and reaffirms his freedom and right to a dignified life in accordance with Islamic Shari’ah Law.
These Articles which follow reveal the core beliefs of Islam and its association with other peoples of the world and its sense of destiny and ultimate conquest of all non-Muslims. Its rules and edicts for proper treatment, respect, security, and protection are meant only for those who follow Islam and are submissive to Allah; they do not and will not apply to any non-believer of the Muslim faith.
I submit these only for the reader’s information and understanding of the Muslim mindset and have noted the important points in parenthesized italics for my own comments.
Article 1:
(a) All humans are of one family, subservient to Allah and are equal in all terms of basic human dignity and without discrimination. Islam, as the true religion, is the guarantee of that dignity. (Only for those who are Muslim)
(b) Those humans, who serve as Allah’s subjects, who are most beneficial to Islam’s subjects are loved most with no superiors except on the basis of piety and good deeds.
Article 2:
(a) Life is God-given, guaranteed to every human (only within Islam), and must be safeguarded against any violation except for Shari’ah prescribed reason.
(b) Any action leading to the annihilation of mankind (only those who are Muslim) is forbidden.
(c) The term of human life is willed by Allah and preservation of that life is a duty prescribed by Shari’ah.
(d) Safety from bodily harm is a right guaranteed by the state and must not be breached except for Shari’ah prescribed reason.
Article 3:
(a) In times of armed conflict, old men, women and children are prohibited from being killed (except as
collateral damage). The sick and wounded have a right to medical treatment and POWs shall have the right to be fed, sheltered, and clothed (what a crock!) and must be exchanged when possible and visits/reunions of family members must be arranged. Dead bodies shall not be mutilated. (They are actually mutilated both before and after death)
(b) Any destruction of the enemy’s civilian buildings and installations, trees, crops, or livestock by any means is prohibited. (Again, except as collateral damage)
Article 4:
Human sanctity and one’s good name and honor during life and after life must be protected as is extended to one’s body and burial place. (Tell that to the soldiers who died in Mogadishu)
Article 5:
(a) The foundation of society is the family and marriage is its basis and no restrictions of race, color, or
nationality shall prevent men and women from the right of marriage. (Notice it doesn’t mention religion!)
(b) All obstacles to marriage shall be removed by the State and society to protect the family and its welfare. (They protect society by stoning those who violate the Quran or the Shari’ah)
Article 6:
(a) A woman is equal to man in human dignity, enjoys her own rights as well as her own duties and has her
own civil entity and financial independence, with the right to retain her name and lineage. (Note: her own rights and duties are dictated by the Quran and Shari’ah)
(b) The husband is responsible for the maintenance and welfare of the family. (And, I suppose the wife is not responsible?)
Article 7:
(a) The fetus and the mother must be safeguarded and accorded special care. As of the moment of birth, each child has the right of proper nursing, education, material, hygienic and moral care due from the parents, society and the State. (One of the more horrific acts against the non-Muslim pregnant woman is to slash open her belly so she and her infidel offspring will die)
(b) Parents or guardians have the right to choose the child’s education, provided the interest and future of the child is in accordance with the ethical values and the principles of the Shari’ah Law.
(c) Both parents are entitled to certain rights from their children as are their relatives according to the Sharia’ah Law. (Care to try to define what rights your children are to provide you and your relatives with?)
Article 8:
Every human has the right to enjoy a legitimate eligibility with all its prerogatives and obligations and in case such eligibility is lost or impaired, the person shall have the right to be represented by his/her guardian. (As in appearing before a court to explain just how eligibility is lost or impaired)
Article 9:
(a) Seeking of knowledge is an obligation and must be facilitated by society and the State in providing the ways and means for education, guaranteeing its diversity in the interest of society to enable man to become acquainted with Islamic beliefs and uncover the secrets of the universe for the benefit of mankind. (Read that as a benefit of fellow Muslims)
(b) The right to receive both a religious (Islamic) and worldly education is a right of every human from any and all sources and in an integrated and balanced manner to develop human personality, strengthening man’s faith in Allah and promoting man’s respect to and defense of both rights and obligations. (Yep, we have thousands upon thousands of Islamic students here learning whatever we can teach them and giving them tools with which to use against us)
Article 10:
Islam is the religion of true unspoiled nature. Any pressure or exploitation of man’s poverty or ignorance to force him to change to another religion or to atheism is prohibited. (A Muslim cannot force a Muslim to change, but can force a non-believer to change or die)
Article 11:
(a) Humans are born free and no enslavement, humiliation, oppression, or exploitation is allowed except to Allah the Almighty. (Of course, this does not apply to the non-believer)
(b) Colonialism, being one of the most evil forms of enslavement, is totally prohibited. Such people have the full right to freedom and self-determination and it is the duty of all States to support the struggle of colonized people against all forms of occupation. All States and peoples have the right to preserve their independent identity and control over their own wealth and natural resources. (This is, obviously, a phrase aimed at the West in what the Muslim sees as our forced colonialism of any and all Muslim nations)
Article 12:
Within the framework of Sharia’ah Law, every man shall have the right to free movement and to choose his place to live in any country. If persecuted, asylum is entitled in another country which shall be obligated to provide protection unless that asylum stems from a crime as regarded by Sharia’ah Law.
Article 13:
The right to work is guaranteed by the State and society and everyone shall be free to choose that work which best suits him and society. (One can guess who it is that determines what is best for society) Safety and security of the employee, freedom from compulsion, exploitation, or harm, and work only within the capacity of the employee shall be provided. The employee is entitled, without discrimination between male and female, to fair wages, holidays, and promotions. The employee shall be dedicated and meticulous in his work. The State shall settle any disputes and grievances with rights confirmed and justice enforced without bias.
Article 14:

Article 15:
(a) Everyone shall have to right to own legitimately acquired property and its rights to ownership without prejudice to oneself, others or society in general. Expropriation is not permissible except for requirements of public interest and upon payment of prompt and fair compensation. (Ask the Jew or Christian in any of the Muslim dominated countries how much property they actually own)
(b) Confiscation and seizure of property is prohibited except by necessity according to Sharia’ah Law.
Article 16:
Everyone shall have the right to enjoy the fruits of his authorship of scientific, literary, artistic, or technical labor and shall have the protection of his moral and material interest stemming from it, provided it is not contrary to the principles of Sharia’ah Law.

(a) The State and society shall provide a clean environment free from vice and moral corruption in order to favor a healthy ethical development of each person. (Read that as police action)

unlawful manner, nor shall it be demolished or confiscated and its dwellers evicted.
Article 19:
(a) All individuals are equal before the law without distinction between the ruler and the ruled. (Just try to bring an Ayatollah to justice in an Islamic nation)
(b) The right to resort to justice is guaranteed to everyone. (Islamic justice? No thanks!)
(c) Liability is in essence personal.
(d) Except as provided for in Sharia’ah Law, there shall be no crime or punishment.
(e) A defendant is innocent until his guilt is proven in a fast trial in which he shall be given all guarantees of defense. (Did they have a trial for those Americans and British civilians they so brutally beheaded?)
Article 20:
Without legitimate reason, no person shall be arrested, have his freedom restricted, or be exiled or punished,
subjected to physical or psychological torture or any form of maltreatment, cruelty or indignity. Nor shall he be subject to medical or scientific experiments without his consent or at the risk of health or life. Nor shall executive authority promulgate emergency law providing for such action. (Probably aimed at those supervising the incarcerated in Guantanamo)
Article 21:
Hostage taking under any form or for any purpose is expressly forbidden. (This is obviously meant only for Muslims!)
Article 22:
